The First Inning
Upon arriving at Dantanna's Sandy Springs location, there is no doubt it is an absolute sports aficionado's DREAM! Wide screen TVs at every angle and a huge bar area ensure there is not a single bad seat in the house.
Our experience began with a bevy of enticing appetizers. The Sandy Springs location offers many of the Dantanna's signature items but some new surprises as well!
With Creekstone Farms seared, rare beef tenderloin, olive oil, fried capers, grana padano and chopped shallots, Dantanna's signature Beef Carpaccio is always a great way to begin any meal.
For a real treat with Asian flare, try theses Sesame Steak Skewers with Soy-Ginger Aioli. They are sure not to disappoint and are an excellent game day choice!
You can order the Spicy Blue Crab Fingers & Shrimp flash fried, sautéed or blackened with a cajun butter dipping sauce. Now this is something the entire table can get behind!
The Second Quarter
Dantanna's has quite a few trick plays up their sleeve. You know it's the best sports bar in Atlanta, but did you know their dining is five star?
You can't go wrong placing a bet on the seasonal catch of the day with local side dish options. Every choice is simply delicious.
Berkwood Farms Berkshire Pork Rib Chop is a 100% pure heirloom berkshire rib chop, served with an exquisite granny smith apple-bourbon sauce. DO NOT miss this dish!
Dantanna's offers a 6 or 8 oz. cut creekstone farms top choice angus beef filet, aged a minimum of 28 days, with two choices of sides and any of their fantastic signature sauces including their mushroom demi glace, cabernet & brie, classic béarnaise or garlic-herb compound butter. I've always been a naturalist with a great cut of beef, but I would highly recommend trying the cabernet and brie sauce. It was divine and added an additional layer of flavor to the beef. Excellent.
