2 - NSAA Girls' Golf Recap

It was a typical ending to the 2018 Nebraska Girls' High School Golf Season, as weather wreaked havoc on the State Championships at all three sites. The NSAA Girls' Golf Championships at Norfolk Country Club (Class A), Quail Run Golf Course in Columbus (Class B) and River's Edge Golf Club in North Platte (Class C) were all shortened to 18 holes after miserable weather and unplayable golf courses disrupted the final rounds. With 18 holes completed on the first day though, new team and individual champions were crowned in all classes. Tap the button to see who took home the hardware.

3 - Golf's New Rules

Golf's new Rules have been published by the USGA and The R&A ahead of their effective date on January 1, 2019. Over the next several months, we'll feature content on some of the major changes to help get you prepared for 2019. The full Rules Book is available at usga.org, and also includes the Player's Edition, which provides a shorter, more user-friendly version of the Rules for golfers at all levels of the game. In addition, the USGA has many different resources to help you learn the new Rules.

We learned about Penalty Areas (formerly Water Hazards) last month. The new Rules will allow much more freedom in these areas, watch the video below to see what you're allowed to do in a Penalty Area. Visit the Rules Hub at the button below to find out more.
