Established in 2005, Lincolnect, located in the centre of Lincoln has been a principle driving force in the development of advanced video game technology within the interactive entertainment industry. Over our short but exciting history our company has won many prestigious awards, we continue to thrive for success and build our company so we can provide our customers with enjoyable and stimulating gaming experiences that they will remember.
Our mission is to design advanced and modernized technology within gaming software, providing our customers with a bespoke service that is second to none. Through research and development and innovative knowledge, Lincolnect can provide a more realistic game scene that enhances our customers satisfaction.
The Lincolnect community consists of 230 employees that help generate £20M in revenue across all the departments, including: Animations, Coding, HR, Game Design, Management & Finance and Marketing. START YOUR WEEK OFF WITH A RELAXED CYCLE
Cycle Mondays takes place at Lunchtime, Again 12:30 - 1:30 pm. Bikes can either be rented on behalf of Lincolnect, or if you wish to bring your own, feel free. We encourage you to bring a packed lunch as when we reach our resting point we break for 25 mins to enjoy the surroundings at Burton Waters. We begin our leisurely bike ride at the outside Odeon on the Brayford. We then cycle approximately 13-15 minutes down past the Brayford leading onto the canal behind Carholme Road where we enjoy the beautiful suroundings. The return route back to office being the same, but on the opposite side.
Cycling is mainly an aerobic activity, which means that your heart, blood vessels and lungs all get a workout. You will breathe deeper, perspire and experience increased body temperature, which will improve your overall fitness level. The health benefits of regular cycling include:
1). Increased cardiovascular fitness. 2). Increased muscle strength, flexibility and improved joint mobility. 4). Decreased stress levels. 5). Improved posture and coordination. 6). Strengthened bones. 7). Decreased body fat. 8). Prevents risk of illness and disease.
