US Soccer Scores in Tampa Bay! Head U.S. Men's Soccer Coach Dave Sarachan Visits Tampa Bay

On Wednesday, September 12 and Thursday, September 13, U.S. Soccer and Head Coach Dave Sarachan made the trip to Tampa Bay just one day after defeating Mexico, 1-0, in Nashville. Coach Sarachan assisted a clinic with local youth on the campus of the University of South Florida, made multiple media visits including stops at 620 WDAE and 970 WFLA, a press conference at Raymond James Stadium as well as leading a "Chalk Talk" session with local soccer coaches and club directors.

Tampa Bay area youth soccer coaches joined U.S. Soccer's Dave Sarachan to assist instruction.

Over 50 local youth participated in the U.S. Soccer Clinic with Coach Dave Sarachan

The University of South Florida graciously provided their home soccer facility, Corbett Stadium, to host the clinic.

The clinic lasted over an hour. Instructors provided fundamental skills to those in attendance.

Special guest speakers included, Eric Hart (Tampa Sports Authority), Rob Higgins (Tampa Bay Sports Commission), Ken Hagan (Hillsborough County), Bob Buckhorn (Mayor of Tampa) and Dave Sarachan (U.S. Men's Soccer)

U.S. Soccer activities were held at Raymond James Stadium's newly introduced Bar 76 (East Club).

Club directors and coaches engaged in conversation with Head Coach Dave Sarachan for over an hour.
