"Amy is an artist and graphic designer living and working in Mechanicsburg, PA. A graduate from Millersville University with a fine arts degree in commercial design, she has acquired more than 20 years of experience as a designer and fine artist. Amy has exhibited her work in numerous shows and galleries over the years, is a member of the Mechanicsburg Art Center and Art Association of Harrisburg, and is the founder and owner of Zimmerman Designs.
Amy’s love of nature frequently translates into her work as her oil paintings often feature, but are not limited to, pet portraits, wildlife, and flowers. Amy also finds great joy in creating commissioned pieces that bring customers’ special memories and moments to life on canvas. A newer endeavor that allows Amy to share her passion is instructing paint parties at a local llama and alpaca farm.
