  • USF extended the program’s season wins record to 11.
  • USF extended its nation-leading streak to 17 games with at least 30 points.
  • USF improved to 10-1 all-time in overtime games and 2-0 in overtime bowl games.
  • Game MVP Quinton Flowers accounted for five total touchdowns and matched his career high with three scoring runs, a Birmingham Bowl record. Flowers finished the season with a USF record 18 rushing touchdowns.

Quinton Flowers

  • Flowers finished off the top rushing season in USF history with 1,530 yards after gaining 105 against the Gamecocks. It marked his fifth straight 100-yard game, which tied Marlon Mack’s school record.
  • Flowers totaled more than 300 total yards (366) for the ninth time this season, another USF record. He finished the season with a USF record 4,337 total yards and accounted for a USF season record 42 touchdowns.
Tajee Fullwood intercepted Gamecock quarterback Jake Bentley and returned it 47 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter.
