Irving Penn early career, was in art museum. Until he got promoted to all the fashion photography and the portraits photography. Penn's later career was working in photography and he got noticed for his fashion and portraits.

Penn became famous for his fashion in photography, he also got famous for the portraits he'd take. Irving won the award off "Hasselblad Award" this award means a "photographer being recognized for major achievements.
