Less than a month after the election of Donald J. Trump. The vice-President Joe Biden was in New York to receive the Robert F. Kennedy of Hope Award. He used the occasion to urge Americans not to despair. He said "I remind people, '68 was really a bad year and America didn't break." He then said "It's as bad now, but I'm hopeful."
