GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Punctuality and Attendance – if you are going to be late or absent the email in advance. It is down to you to catch up.
  • Emails – Always use the Module Code in the subject header in any correspondence.
  • Mobile phones must be turned off.
  • Bring a memory storage device, or save your work to Dropbox/your own online storage.
  • If you have any special requirements, please can you make them clear at the end of the session.
  • If in doubt about anything, ASK it's your responsibility to know what's going on!

EXAM

  • It will take 50 minutes and there will be 40 questions.
  • You require 40 marks to pass the module.
  • The exam consists of multiple choice and simulated Photoshop practical questions..
  • You will be taking your exam on the computers in your main session room.
  • The exam will be conducted under invigilated exam conditions.
  • Key shortcuts will not be recognised in the exam it is important to make sure you know the correct way to find the processes in the interface, and that you will be able to use Photoshop in a dual platform manner.
  • The mock exam will enable you to refine your studies for the final exam.
  • Be sure to save you working PSD files, so we can discuss your techniques.
  • You will also need it for future for reference, later lectures, other modules and above all you will need it to study for the exam.
  • Screen grab and save all the files you work on.
  • If you don't understand something, either ask me or make a note to recover later.
  • Help your neighbour. You can learn a lot by teaching someone a technique you just learnt.
  • Take notes, you will need them; It’s also a very effective method to help you remember things.
  • Update and Save your Exam Objectives on a weekly basis with your work to your own hard drive or onto Dropbox.

The Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) certification allows you to demonstrate proficiency in Adobe digital communications tools.
