Church of Christ India Mission Work Forest Mission Trip May 2017

Greetings to you! I am Sunil "Erik" Raju Gollapalli, a gospel preacher with the Church of Christ India Mission Work in the state of Andhra Pradesh, South India. In May 2017 , I led a team of gospel preachers into the forest region to share the gospel with the tribal village people living in this remote, isolated area. This is the story of our forest area mission trip.

We were very happy to arrive at our forest destination.
Getting ready to take gifts of the gospel and fruit into the forest area

I and the other preachers were very excited, happy and blessed to be visiting with the tribal people in the forest area and to be sharing with them that most precious gift - the Word of God and the knowledge of the gospel. We have conducted several forest mission trips in the past and are working to establish, maintain and support congregations in these areas.

Forest area tribal villagers live in extreme poverty conditions

The tribal villagers who inhabit the forest region are very poor and live in extreme poverty. However, our team of gospel preachers are working to provide them with the spiritual wealth of our Heavenly Father... riches that are far beyond earthly measure.

The tribal people living in the area were excited about our visit with them. The forest region in Andhra Pradesh is a very remote and isolated area. Very few visitors ever venture inside this dangerous territory. Thus, prior to our initial forest mission trips, most people living in the tribal villages there had never heard the Word of God nor the gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are striving to bring the gospel and God's plan of salvation to these tribal people.

Because very few ministries attempt to go inside the dangerous forest area, the gospel message is something very new to many of the tribal villagers living there. Most do not know about the One, True Living God. They worship many false gods - living things in nature that they can see - such as snakes, monkeys, and trees, to name a few. Our team of gospel preachers are working to lead them to the One God of the universe.

Therefore, one of the most important goals of the Church of Christ India Mission Work is to teach and preach the Word of God, Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and the New Testament gospel to these isolated and uneducated tribal people. We are striving to impart to them a knowledge and understanding of the God's Word and to lead them to obey the gospel so they might have the hope of eternal salvation. We visited and shared the New Testament gospel in ten forest villages during our mission trip in May. The tribal village residents were good listeners and seemed very interested in the gospel we were proclaiming.

Along with the gift of the great gospel message, we also took the forest tribal villagers fruits and snacks to enjoy. After first sharing the gospel with the villagers, we then gave them fruit treats which we had brought with us. We are working diligently to plant and strengthen the growth of the seed of the gospel in the hearts and minds of the forest area tribal villagers - to lead them to a knowledge and understanding of God and His Son, and His Word. We have been visiting the remote forest regions for several years and are attempting to establish and support congregations in these isolated areas.

The tribal children enjoyed the fruit we provided to them very much

Everyone enjoyed the bananas we distributed, especially the blessed little children.

We enjoyed our forest mission trip very much. We hope and pray that we will be able to return to visit the tribal village people very soon to nourish the gospel seed which we planted during out forest area mission trips. Please pray for these forest area tribal people and our gospel work and efforts in these remote and isolated forest regions.

Mark 16:15 (KJV) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Romans 15: 20-21 (NKJV). 20 And so I have made it my aim to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build on another man's foundation, 21 but as it is written: "To whom He was not announced, they shall see; And those who have not heard shall understand."

2 Corinthians 10:16 (NKJV) 16 to preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's sphere of accomplishment.
