Bob Lanier Court Redesign

As the 50th anniversary season of the Reilly Center begins, Bob Lanier Court will have a fresh look for the 2016-17 basketball seasons. When fans enter The RC this winter, they will be greeted with new surroundings - from the new colors and logos on the court to the state-of-the-art center-hung video board at mid-court. Here's a look at the Bob Lanier Court project from start to finish.

Updates were necessary in part because the court was last painted in 2007. Recommendations were made to completely sand the court for its long-term preservation.

The eyes of fans watching in the arena and on TV will instantly be drawn to center court where they will find the Bonnies "shield" logo, a change from the previous design. The logo features St. Bonaventure athletics' updated colors, featuring an emphasis on the University's Brown and White along with the addition of gray accent tones.

The areas inside the three-point lines are now stained, giving the court a classic look. The University's true brown now accents all of the court borders with "St. Bonaventure" written on both baselines, another change from the previous court design. New Bob Lanier Court wording and Atlantic 10 logos also adorn the court surface.

“We could not be more pleased with the redesign of Bob Lanier Court,” St. Bonaventure Director of Athletics Tim Kenney said. “As part of the scheduled maintenance to preserve the wood floor, we were able to repaint it in a way that truly reflects the brand of St. Bonaventure University."

St. Bonaventure men's and women's basketball season tickets are now available. For more information, visit or call 716-375-2500.
