Grail Quest By jake mcmahon

Nick is right by saying that Gatsby going after Daisy is a grail quest. I believe this is true because like he was when he was younger, he was never able to capture Daisy because they weren't of the same social class, and they still aren't today despite Gatsby's wealth. A grail quest has always been seen to have a not-so fortunate ending for the one who ok the journey, and we see this again when Gatsby ultimately fails to bring Daisy into his life completely.
