Before The us dropped the atomic bomb Japan did not surrendered. they lived under a code called Bushido. if we did not drop the Atomic Bomb Japan would at least try one more time to defeat us. and that one time could have been the end of us. President Harry Truman knew that it was a devastating act but it had to be done. since they dropped the Atomic Bomb no one else has dropped one because they understand the affect of it.
