Lindenwood trailed after the first three rotations, but scored a 48.775 on the beam for a comeback victory over MIC rival Southeast Missouri.

Andavea Alexander had one of the best all-around meets, scoring a 9.675 or higher in three events.

Hannah Rector had a pair of 9.750 scores, including leading the team on the floor.

Kierstin Sokolowski also had a pair of 9.750 marks, and she led the team on the vault and bars.

For the third week in a row, Katie Oswalt earned MIC Specialist of the Week honors. This time it was for her 9.850 beam routine, which won first place overall.

The Comeback Kids

Andavea Alexander

Carrollton, Ga.

Andavea Alexander started last week's comeback win over Southeast Missouri with a scores of 9.775 on the beam, a career-best mark in the event. She finished second overall.

Hannah Rector

Blue Springs, Mo.

The only Missourian on the roster helped the Lady Lions pick up the win over their in-state rival by scoring a season-high 9.750 on the beam. She finished third overall.

Emily Milliet

Denton, Texas

In her first official collegiate routine, Milliet collected a score of 9.600 on the beam, which was higher than four of the six Southeast Missouri gymnasts.

Katey Oswalt

Meridian, Idaho

Katey Oswalt put together a great performance, and was awarded a season-high 9.850. She won the overall competition at the dual meet and her performance earned her another MIC Weekly Award.

Breanna Franklin

Regina, Saskatchewan

Lindenwood still needed two strong performances from two freshmen to complete its comeback win. Breanna Franklin got one of those with a 9.725, her best beam scores of the year by 0.300.

Taylor Colwell

Plainedge, N.Y.

Taylor Colwell wrapped up Lindenwood's night with a 9.675 score on the beam, her highest mark in any event during her short collegiate career. Lindenwood finished with an event score of 48.775, and the team won the overall competition by 0.400.
