UTAH a land of desert beauty

Starting in Moab Utah we traveled through 5 National parks and a few state parks. Hiking our way through Arches, Canyonlands, Dead Horse, Capital Reef, Grandstaircase-Escalante, Kodachrome Basin, Bryce and Zion Parks. The beauty was inspiring throughout the trip. Hiking an average of 6.4 miles per day we found southern Utah to be one of our favorite places to hike in the world. There are mountain lions here!!

The vivid colors of the American southwest. Reds,golds,browns, turquoise, and so much more.

The Slot Canyons

Kodachrome Park maybe the most colorful of them all... HenCe the name

Bryce Park carved over the mellennium made for hiking.

Zion National Park. Steep red cliffs, rivers, waterfalls and more spetactular hikes.

The HIKING ROUTE.4 miles up and 4 miles down. descending was much more difficult on the body.
