Q&A

Q: What does it mean to be a good citizen

A:Being a good citizen can say many things. As a citizen you have rights. For example getting the right to have freedom of speech or petitioning. Petitioning is having people sign a paper to get something you want from the government or office. Another part is following the responsibilities. For example paying taxes and voting in a political event.

Q: What do you think is the most effective style of government and why?

A: Democracy is the most effective form government. In democracy, citizens get to have a representative democracy and get to vote for their representative. This means the USA is a democracy and we get to vote for our leader and representatives. In democracy we have a limited government. An example of a limited government is is rule of law. We, the citizens and the government have to follow the rule of law to be a good citizen. We have limited government to restrict too much power. That is why democracy is the most important form of government.
