OUR CHANCE TO CHANGE THE WORLD ONE STUDENT AT A TIME

EVERY NATION MINISTRIES

IS A WORLDWIDE ORGANIZATION THAT EXISTS TO HONOR GOD AND ADVANCE HIS KINGDOM BY WINNING EVERY NATION TO CHRIST.

WE REACH EVERY NATION BY REACHING THE NEXT GENERATION.

OUR PURPOSE:

  • Effectively reach the next generation for the Lord Jesus Christ
  • Plant churches capable of reaching major student centers of every nation and city
  • Train and send leaders to impact every nation for Jesus Christ

Matthew 28:18-19

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations..."

WHY THE NEXT GENERATION?

WINDOW OF OPENNESS

Statistically, the younger the person, the more open they are to the Gospel. The best time to reach people is when they are in the campus.

After four years of studying in UP Diliman and half a year of serving in the campus ministry of Ateneo, I have seen that this generation is longing for things like purpose, value, and identity. Because of this, so many of them are just waiting for someone to share a message of hope, and there is no greater message of hope than the Gospel.

DOORWAY TO THE FAMILY

We believe that when you reach a student, you reach the whole family. Mika was reached out as a student and she was the only Christian in her family. Her parents were always fighting and arguing, and one day she just got so tired of it, she started sharing the Gospel to her parents, and right then and there, they accepted Christ in their lives and Mika was even able to bring them to church. The great thing is that Mika is not the only one. There are so many stories where God used students like Mika to bring family restoration and reconciliation.

FUTURE LEADERS

Interesting fact: Erap, GMA, Duterte, and PNoy all went through Ateneo education. Whatever we see in our leaders today, whether good or bad, you can be sure that they learned it in the campus. If you want to bring change into this nation, it's crucial to dive into the campuses today and reach the next generation. The question now is:

HOW DO WE DO IT?

Every Nation Ministries does three things to reach the next generation.

WHAT DO WE DO?

WIN STUDENTS FOR CHRIST

Wall climbing with exchange students from France and Japan

We believe that you can teach students the greatest values and do character development, but unless you share the Gospel and teach them what it is to have a relationship with God, nothing will really change.

At times, with the stereotypical impression that Ateneans are all rich and have everything figured out, some people wonder why we need to go there and share to them about the love of God. But as we've met students and listened to their stories, we've come to realize that a lot of these students are longing for purpose, identity, value, love, and direction. A lot of them come from broken families, one of the things that I can really relate to. And we heard from the Guidance Office that there is actually a high rate of depression in the campus.

This is why we are passionate in reaching the students and telling every one of them that there is a God that loves them, created them, and has a plan for them. We do this through one-on-one discipleship, small groups, and the weekly Youth Service, and we see the fruits of our efforts.

John* is a member of a fraternity in UP Diliman. He's been delayed for a few years. He was into so many vices. The first time I met him was during dinner after the Youth Service. Someone invited him so he attended, and I remember seeing him outside, taking a yosi break, and I wondered if he would actually keep going. Interestingly, he did! And there were people who walked with him, discipled him, and taught him how to have a relationship with God, and finally, in one retreat, he was talking to his mentor, Kuya Ivan, and he told him he finally decided to surrender everything to God, even if it meant losing his income. Kuya Ivan was happy with his decision, but he wondered what he meant by income. It turned out that John had been dealing drugs in campus, but he finally decided to give that up for a new life. Right now, he's one of our strongest leaders and he serves as a bridge between our campus ministry and the fraternity community.

TRAIN STUDENTS FOR LEADERSHIP

We believe that every student is called to lead and make an impact. As we train students for leadership through leadership seminars and LIFE groups, we teach students our LIFE values.

L - Leadership. We tell every student, whether they feel like they're just for the sidelines or that they're student council material, that they are called to lead and influence others. We also tell them that the heart of leadership is not so they can have position, power, or popularity, but it's so they can serve the people around them.

I - Integrity. We teach students to do what is right whether people see them or not.

F - Faith. We share with our students that there is a God who created them, has a great plan for them, and will use them for a great purpose, and that it is impossible to live life without faith.

E - Excellence. Lastly, we impart to the students a culture of excellence, that whether they have a huge responsibility or it's so small that no one will even notice, they should still do things right. They won't cut corners, they won't do shortcuts.

These four LIFE values seem really basic, but imagine if our leaders today had these ingrained in them back when they were in campus. I believe society will be very different today. As we train students for leadership, we know that they won't just be leaders in campus, but they will go out and make an impact in every sector of society, and that is the last thing we do.

SEND STUDENTS TO IMPACT THE WORLD

Joyce Buen is one of our student leaders in Ateneo, and recently she just got accepted for an internship in Malta. Every Nation Ministries has zero work in that nation, and Joyce is excited to be the first person to build contacts, start small groups, and lay the ground for future work in the nation of Malta.

Hazel Villarba finished Political Science in UP Diliman. On the day of her graduation, a senator happened to be attending. Hazel took a selfie with that senator, and after that, the senator asked her what her course was. Hazel told him she took up Political Science, then the senator asked her to send him her CV. Hazel was surprised, but soon after she took her chance and sent her CV, and the senator actually hired her. Right now, Hazel has been in the senator's team for a few years, and every time the senator is making plans and drafting bills, Hazel is one of the voices that would speak out and point out things that aren't right, and the senator actually listens to her.

At times, the news and events in our nation can be worrying, but I look at things with hope because I know that God is moving in the lives of our students. Their lives are being changed, they're being trained for leadership, and they're prepared to make an impact in society. The great part is everyone can be involved.

YOU CAN BE A PART OF THIS.

ROMANS 10:14

... how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?

ROMANS 10:15

And how are they to preach unless they are sent?

Every time a student's life is changed through the Gospel, you can be part of that. Every time a student is trained for leadership, you can be part of that. Every time we send a student so they can impact the world, you can be part of that. Here's how:

PARTNERSHIP TEAM POLICY

All missionaries of Every Nation Ministries have the privilege of developing a partnership team to support them in their ministry assignment. This team approach enables Every Nation Ministries to send more missionaries into the mission field and give each partner personal contact with the ministry of a specific missionary.

All missionaries share the same financial policies and support structure. Every Nation Ministries holds all donations in trust for the missionaries and has all missionaries adhere to the highest standards of financial accountability.

I am presently developing a team of partners for my ministry assignment with Every Nation Ministries. In order to get to my mission field as quickly as possible, I trust the Lord to provide individuals who will make monthly investments of $100, $50, or $30.
