How do I reserve a space on campus and request FMS and/or Catering via reserve.rit.edu?
Make a Single Reservation - Create an event that takes place on a single date and time
Make Recurring Reservations - Create an event that takes places repeatedly on certain days of the week, month, or year
Cancel a Reservation or Service Request - remove your event from the RIT Events system or cancel a service request
How do I request space on campus and request FMS and/or Catering via the Outlook Plugin?
Make a Single Reservation - Create an event that takes place on a single date and time in EMS Outlook Plugin
Make a Recurring Reservation - Create an event that takes places repeatedly on certain days of the week, month, or year in EMS Outlook Plugin
Cancel a Reservation or Service Request - Remove your event or cancel a service request from the RIT Events system with EMS Outlook Plugin
Reserving Space vs. Requesting Space
A request shows your intent to reserve a room, but is subject to approval by the space administrator. Submitting a request does not guarantee it will be approved.
Important information regarding service requests:
- Confirmation of Requests: You will receive a green pop up notification that says "success" after submitting your request. This message notes that the request has been submitted but does not mean that your services have been confirmed. You will receive a separate confirmation email for each service that has been requested.
- Requests for Parking and Transportation Services: Parking and Transportation Services can be requested under Step 3 in the space reservation (reservation details) process and not through the service request process.
