Tomorrow, Friday March 27 at 6:30 p.m., the Mountain View City Council will hold a special meeting to address two important and immediate issues for our city.
All members of the City Council will participate in the meeting by video conference, with no physical meeting location.
This meeting will be broadcast live on our City website, on YouTube and on Comcast Channel 26.
Members of the public are strongly encouraged to submit public comment in advance of the meeting to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Details regarding the agenda items and ways to leave public comment via voicemail (for those who do not have access to email) have been shared on the city's website.
There are two items on the agenda for consideration:
- #TogetherMV - Update and Recommendations on Rent Relief Program, Small Business Assistance Program, Safe Parking, Utility Bill Assistance, and Other Community Support Efforts to Address the COVID-19 Emergency (title may be revised as report is still in progress)
- Urgency Ordinance Temporarily Suspending Evictions for Nonpayment of Rent by Residential Tenants Impacted by COVID-19
