Greenbelly Studios Welcome

About Greenbelly Studios

Greenbelly Studios began in 2008 by Artist Tricia Jacobs out of a desire to create Christian Animation for children. We are a small, family owned, home-based art studio with virtual offices in upstate New York and Phoenix Arizona. May everything we do, be for the glory of God, and the expansion of His kingdom.

What’s in a name?

The name “Greenbelly” came from a line of dog jackets we had originally designed and began sewing around 2006 out of recycled clothing. That was the catalyst which inspired us to make all kinds of fiber art and creations from recyled, repurposed, and reused materials including; garden sculptures, puppetry, quilts, costumes, and 6”x6” wall art. In 2008 we started out as “Greenbelly Graphics and Animation Studio.” As we virtually expanded our horizons and online presence, our name was simplified to “Greenbelly Studios.” Currently, we have been publishing books, journals, and videos about journaling and repurposing old books. Since 2016 we have published more than 20 books in print and for Kindle. Including 5 “Snowguy” series books which were listed as #1,#2,#3, and #5 spots on Amazon’s “Christian Comics and Graphic Novels” category for Kindle in 2018 and 2019. Our latest venture in 2020 includes creating English teaching videos, and working as an independent ESL contractor. We plan to publish four new paperback & Kindle books by the end of 2020 including; our first mystery novel series about time travel, and additional journal workshop books.
