Boudoir Outfit Guide What to wear to your boudoir session

HEY, I'm Chee! I'm a Northern Cali gal who craves the outdoors and loves the smell of rain (HELLO WINTER)! When I'm not working, you can find me outside, hanging out with my Kunekune pigs, quad rides, or having family time with my family (Boy mom over here).

WHAT TO LOOK FOR:

BODYSUITS

Oh my! These are my FAVORITE! Bodysuits look great on every shape, and they're such a great starter item!

I enjoy starting a session with bodysuits to help you into the experience, and then switching into the dainty two-piece sets you brought with you!

TWO-PIECE SETS

These sets are CUTE. A lot of my ladies have found cute two-piece sets (like the one above) at Shien or online boutiques. At the end of this guide, I give you my tips on where to shop for pieces!

CONTINUED…

A CUTE ROBE/KIMONO

You can't go wrong with something simple as a cute robe or even kimono. Whether it's lace, silk, see-through or not see-through - join it with a lovely two-piece set or bodysuit underneath, and you're good to go!

COZY SWEATER WITH DAINTY BOTTOMS

A cozy sweater is such a cute look, especially in the colder months! If you want to go the extra mile, add a pair of long comfortable socks.

FAUX FUR JACKET WITH A CUTE SET

Don't own a faux fur jacket? Bring a jean/velvet jacket! Either way, this look is undoubtedly fantastic & so much fun to fiddle around with!

Another jacket example… That velvet tho!

JEANS WITH A BRALETTE OR BODYSUIT

Boudoir doesn't always have to be all strappy lingerie and super revealing; some of my favorite looks are a pair of jeans with a bralette or bodysuit!

OKAY, I'VE GOT SOME IDEAS NOW. NOW... WHERE DO I FIND ALL THESE CUTE PIECES?!

WHERE TO SHOP:

A FEW LAST TIPS:

  • High waisted undies add a slimming effect
  • High cut on underwear and bodysuits lengthens legs
  • Tighter is best – if a piece is too baggy, it will create weird lines in different poses and may look unflattering
  • Look for colors that contrast against your skin tone!
