Lady Bug facts

Lady bugs are beetles. Some people think that they are just bugs. Female ladybugs lay 1,000 eggs in their lifetime. They are all poisonous to other animals but they are not poisonous to people.

Lady bugs have many names such as Ladybirds and ladybeetle but the scientific name is Coccinellidae septempunctata. Lady bugs are faster than a kid going about 15 mph.
