We used 12 total connectors, and a few yards of PVC pipe in order to create the catapult.
One of our connectors was at the end of the launching mechanism, in order to place the ball for our launch.
The catapult was decent in theory, but in reality it would be a work in progress. The launching mechanism is flawed, as with everything else, and after about three launches the catapult disconnects in some way.
