This ranger sits in the middle of the Mississippi Baptist Association Booth at the Dixie Nationals in Jackson, Miss. which is open from Wednesday, Feb. 15 to Sunday, Feb. 10. Volunteers come together to give away the ranger with the goal of evangelism.

There is a winner for a ranger at the Mississippi Baptist Association Booth at the Dixie Nationals in Jackson, Miss. on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. The winner does not have to be present, but does have to pick up the ranger before the Dixie Nationals come to an end.

Everyone that visits the Mississippi Baptist Association Booth at the Dixie Nationals in Jackson, Miss. on Wednesday Feb. 15 to Sunday, Feb. 19, gets a cross that says, "God loves you." The volunteers at the booth also hand out cowboy tracks, a short cowboy devotional book, and a cowboy version of the gospel of John to try to bring people to salvation in Jesus Christ.
Don Lum, the Director of the Evangelism Department at the Mississippi Baptist Convention, is heading up the Mississippi Baptist Association Booth at the Dixie Nationals in Jackson, Miss. from Wednesday, Feb. 15 to Sunday, Feb. 19. He came up with the idea for the booth which started last year; this is the second of what he hopes to continue to be an annual event.
