Best NBA players in the 80s

Questions in my survey:

Who was the best point guard in the 80s? Who was the best shooting guard in the 80s? Who is the best small forward in the 80s? Who was the best power forward in the 80s? Who was the best center in the 80s? Who was the best offensive player in the 80s? Who was the best defensive player in the 80s? Best three point player in the 80s? Best assist player in the 80s? Best overall player in the 80s?

Emails I sent my survey to:

My project is about all the best players in the 80’s. I chose this topic because basketball is one of my favorite sports. Also, the reason why I chose this time period is because some of the greatest players in NBA history played during this time. My survey was based on 10 people’s opinions on who they thought was the best player in that certain position. So I listed five different well known players that played in each position and people had to chose who they thought was the best at that position. The positions I put in my survey were point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward, and center. Also I put “who was the best three point shooter and the best assist player in the 80’s?” Another question I put in my survey was “who was the best offensive and defensive player during this time”. But the final question I put was “who was the best overall player during the 80’s?”

Therefore, my findings in this survey was that people thought that Magic Johnson was the best point guard. My survey said that Michael Jordan was best shooting guard. Then the best small forward according to my survey was Larry Bird. The people who took my survey, they said that Karl Malone or Charles Barkley was the best power forward of this time period. The survey showed that people think that Kareem Abdul-Jabar or Patrick Ewing was the best center of the 80’s. The best three point shooter according to my survey was Reggie Miller. Then the best assist player was John Stockton. Then my survey showed that Michael Jordan was the best offensive player during this time. Also the best defensive player was Dennis Rodman. Finally the best overall player during the 80’s was Michael Jordan according to my survey.

However, the main point of this survey was to prove who was the best NBA basketball players during the 80’s. During this survey I was surprised that people thought Reggie Miller was the best three point shooter. I was surprised at that because I thought that Larry Bird was the best three point shooter during this time and I thought people would agree would agree with me. I was also surprised to see that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Patrick Ewing were tied for the best center in the 80’s. I was surprised because I thought that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was way better than Patrick Ewing. But besides that nothing else surprised me about the survey results.
