This relates directly to the third global goal, worldwide good health and wellbeing.

What are the causes of bad health amongst teens?

  • Unhealthy foods are readily available and often cheaper, especially for teens with limited money

  • School vending machines do not provide healthy options
  • Lack of practical health education
  • Lack of teaching of enjoyment of sport - those who don't enjoy it see it as a chore
  • The unhealthy food industry is acting like cigarette companies: funding pro-sugar studies etc.
