Born in June 7 1978 age- 42 his relay name is Edward Michael Grylls. Bear Grylls was appointed the youngest ever chief scout in the UK at the age of 35. During 1996 bear was doing an SAS skydive, his parachute ripped at 16,000 ft, causing him to fall and crush three vertebrae. He has a second Dan black belt in karate. Bear Grylls climbed to the top of mount Everest. It took 90 days to reach the top of mount Everest in Nepal. On 16 of may 1998, bear climbed to the top of mount Everest. One time bear wrestled an Alligator. He made it across the Arctic ocean in an open boat.
