Items Necessary to Survive in the Trenches

#1 A Gas Mask

The Gas mask is one of the more important items. They are necessary for survival against the gases that might leak through to the trenches. The enemy can and will use this to put your life to an end.

#2 On Field Medical Equipment

Medical equipment is vital to survive in the trenches. Chances are you will get shot, and this will come in handy. This can patch up any injury as long as you don't run out.

#3 Bayonette

If enemies are to close, use this to fend them off. This sharp tool can be added to the end of your rifle for melee combat. Be on defense when it comes to hurt you.

#4 Steel Helmet

Any kind of defense is good defense. This helmet will protect you from flying metal and such. The weight is a bit on the heavy side, but you're much more protected from stray metal.

#5 A Trencher

A requirement to trench-building needs. Though not as lethargic as this one shown above, you can have a small trencher, which is a small combination of a shovel and a pickaxe. This digging tool is the better way to avoid being shot and find a little comfort.
