How was your break and what did you do?
Over this Christmas break I felt extremely busy even though most days were spent laying around the house. I spent the beginning of the break in south Texas with my grandmother and cousin. While down there we had our first Christmas. When we got home there was still a few days till Christmas so I tried to catch up on sleep. On Christmas my grandparents came over for lunch then we opened gifts and played games. After our second Christmas ( a few days layer) we met up with dad's brother and family and had a third Christmas. I also stayed a few days out at our ranch and hung out with friends. Over all this break was pretty nice.
What is the most trouble you have ever given your parents? What is the most enjoyment you have ever given them?
Over the past 16 years I have probably given my parents a ton of trouble. Although I know that I have troubled them before, I don't quite know what has give them the most trouble. The most enjoyment I have ever given them is hard to say. I will day that my family is happy more then sad but there are to many great memories to just pick one.
What dream can you conceive? Can you believe it? Can you achieve it?
A dream i can conceive would have to be owning my own business. I do believe that it is possible for me to do this with the correct classes and the right mind set. I can achieve it if i follow the path i'm on and push myself to better myself.
Three day weekend what are you doing?
Over the weekend I don't have that busy of a schedule. Saturday I plan to do homework and sleep. Sunday the team I coach has a competition in San Antonio. Monday I have absolutely no idea what i'll be doing. Those are my plans for this three day weekend.
How do you decide if you like someone? How do you show interest in them?
Honestly the way I determine if I like someone or not is based off of their actions, attitude, and my gut feeling. If I believe that they're a good person and i'd like to show an interest in them I would start talking to them and try to become friends.
Who is your biggest fan?
My biggest fan would have to be my parents or my coaches. I say this because these are the people that are continuously pushing me to do my best. They always believe in me and aspire in whatever I do.
What do you love most about yourself? What do others love about you?
What I love most about myself is that I care for my friends and family and would do anything for them. I'd like to think that others love my personality and how I am a good listener. Of course depending on how you know me or where you know me from you will have different thoughts, likes, and dislike about me but I hope you like something.
Which of your senses is the most important to you? What would you do without it?
The sense most important to me would have to be touch. With feeling/touching you can do so much. In a way it's another source of imagery. If i wasn't able to feel things i'd have to rely on my other senses that may not be as dominate.
How do you see yourself? How do you think others see you?
I believe that everyone is pretty in their own way. I don't believe that i should worry about what others think of me because everyone has their own opinions. I do think that i am pretty in my own way just like everybody else in this world. Yes, some people may be more attractive than others but there's always going to be someone that finds you perfect just the way you are.
Do you treat people as they are? Or how they ought to be.
I believe there should be some type of balance between they two. Yes people should be treated with respect buy at the same time i believe sometimes people have to realize how they're treating other so you should treat them that way to some extent.
How were you taught to tell the truth?
I was taught to tell the truth at a very young age. I don't know how i was exactly taught but that's how i grew up. I just remember it just kind of being an expectation and that s what you did, you just told the truth.
Have your parents ever practiced "long division" on you and your friends?
There have been times where my parents have practiced "long division" but in the way that they didn't want me hanging out whit people for specific reasons. Not because of things that have happened between us but things they had done personally or with others.
When has a friend opened up a whole new world for you?
I have had many enjoyable moments with my friends. We have made amazing memories. My friends have given me so many amazing opportunities. I am thankful for my friends and thing times we are able to be together.
What is the most important advise you have ever received?
Being 16 i have received a lot of "life lessons" from my parents, coaches, and teachers. The most important advise i have received has had to be : " live life to the fullest, always do your best, and believe in yourself." These are three different topics that i believe are very important. These are things i will say i live by.
What was the stupidest thing you have ever done? Did someone persuade you to do it?
The most stupidest thing i have ever done has had to be the time that I was at camp and went out after curfew with my cousin to hang out with friends. I was 10 at the time and my cousin has always been someone i looked up to so yes, she did have an influence on me. We didn't get into to much trouble other then we then had an adult in our cabin for the rest of camp.
Today i will be headed for Houston. I have a competition there and can't wait. I will be able to see my God sister and spend the weekend with my best friends. This will be our biggest competition this year unless we win a bid and get an out of state trip.
What do you wish you knew then that you know now?
I wish that i knew that it doesn't matter what other people think. You are you and that's all that matters
