Spiders are part of the arachnid family. If you don't know what an arachnid is its an 8 legged creature with 2 body segments.

Spiders can grow up to enormous sizes, particularly in Tropical countries such as: Africa, Asia, South America and sometimes Australia.

if you are bitten by a poisonous spider you need an anti dote straight away. Occasionally, a spiders bite will cause real harm. The venom of a spider can be very dangerous, but rarely transmit infectious diseases.

Spiders feed on common indoor pests, such as cockroaches, earwigs, mosquitoes, flies and clothes moths.

This is the Goliath Bird eating spider, which is one of the biggest in the world.

This is a Tarantula, there are different types including the following:

black tarantula,

pale brown tarantula,

and the common brown tarantula.

Depending on the species spiders will lay between 2 and 1000 eggs. Almost all female spiders protect their eggs by making a silk bed, then covering them in a silk blanket.
