Middle School Winter Guard Informational Meeting
Do you have a student currently in middle school that is interested in joining the Winter Guard for the second semester?
If so, please plan to attend the Prosper HS Winter Guard Informational Meeting this Monday, November 15th at the PHS Band Hall beginning at 6:30pm.
Private Lessons
Did you know that private lessons are one of the fastest and most important ways for your student to be a better musician?
It is the goal of the Prosper High School Band Department to provide the very best learning experience for each student. One important aspect of a student’s musical growth includes the opportunity to study privately with a professional instrumentalist. This enrichment opportunity is available to all band students and is highly encouraged.
The private lesson program allows interested students to receive personalized instruction on their instrument. This individual interaction generally improves the performance level of the student and also has a positive effect on the band in which the student participates. Students interested in excelling in the All-Region / All-State process will benefit tremendously from lessons. One of the greatest contributing factors to the success of the Prosper Band is the active involvement of our students in the private lesson program.

REMIND 101 Communications
We are excited to offer immediate text communications through Remind 101, a direct text-messaging program. We will be using the Remind system for important and immediate information needed to be sent out to our parents such as updated arrival times from events and football games, last minute rehearsal changes, etc . We still will utilize our normal ways of communication; however this will help us to get information out quickly. This will not be used for general communications.
If you would like to sign up for this service and receive communications, we are required by Prosper ISD for all parents to fill out the following Google Form. Once you submit the form, you will be given a text code to send to 81010 (the Remind 101 text messaging service). Once you type the code in the text body, then you are enrolled... It is as easy as that!
Absence Requests
Please read the Prosper Band Absence Policy by clicking the button below before submitting a request.
Prosper Mighty Eagle Band members are expected to be at all rehearsals, events and performances as listed on the Prosper Band Google Calendar. We understand that unavoidable conflicts may sometimes arise, but it is important that all students are present as we cannot teach an empty spot or chair. It is the student's responsibility to obtain all material that was missed and makeup the time appropriately. If you have attempted all aspects of working around this conflict, but cannot come up with a solution, please fill out the following absence request form ASAP.
