Carbohydrates! Carbohydrates are the body's main source of energy. High quality fuel takes little energy to use. Complex Carbohydrates are healthy and includes starch and fiber, this should be 50% of your diet. Simple carbohydrates are unhealthy things like sugar. These simple carbohydrates should be limited. If you have to little or to much it could result in little energy that make you tiered and less alert, to much of simple carbohydrates can

Carbohydrates-continued: result in obesity. You can find Carbohydrates in pasta, wheat, corn, bread, grains, beans, candy, soda, cake, & cookies.

Fats! There are two different kinds of fat (saturated & unsaturated). Some fats are good and others are not, like fats in sweets and baked goods. You can find fats in things like avocados, cheese, dark chocolate, whole eggs, fatty fish, nuts, chia seeds & more. Fats help your skin, hair, growth function, nerve function, hormones, vitamins, can be burned, body heat, & protecting organs. Too much or too little can result in obesity, heart disease, or vitamin deficiency.
Proteins! After water, protein is the most plentiful substance in the body. Proteins are made up of amino acids that help the body repair cells, fight infections, & make blood strong. Complete proteins have the 9 essential amino acids that come from animal sources. If you have to little or to much this could cause weak bones, skin tone problems, gain weight/fat, cause hypertension, high cholesterol,

Proteins-continued: heart disease, & diabetes. Incomplete proteins have 11 other amino acids that come from within the body that are found in grains, seeds, fish, dairy, & soy beans. Proteins are not only in meats and nuts, they can also be found in eggs, cheese, yogurt, milk broccoli, & more.

Vitamins! Vitamins regulate the body and produces energy. This helps with digestion, growth, metabolism, hormone development, healing cuts, & Nerve infections. If you had to much or to little this could result in getting rare diseases, like scurvy, Beriberi, or Rickets you do You can find vitamins A & B in leafy vegetables, vitamin C in oranges, grapefruit, lemons, & limes, & vitamin D in sunlight.
Water! Water is 75% of what your body is made up of. Water helps with being able to live, digestion, breathing, carries nutrients and oxygen throughout the body, weight loss, skin, body temperature. If you have to little or to much it could result in dehydration, wash away the minerals and vitamins, &/or shut your body down.
Minerals! Minerals help regulate the body process. They help with growth and maintaining the body structure, builds strong bones, strong teeth, strong blood, helps the body use energy, & regulate metabolism. You can find minerals in calcium, sodium, potassium, iron, iodine, & zinc. To little or to much could affect your bones, heart, breathing, & lower your red blood cells.
