USEFUL LINKS

On the links below you can find some useful links to things we have discussed during the past few days as well as information you need for next week.

NEW STUDENTS

Core/Homeroom teachers, all new students in your classes will be assigned a “buddy” to help show them the ropes the first week of classes. Dani and Gaby will tell you who your assigned buddies are.

Also, please check in with their families at the end of the week to see how their experiences were. This is a small thing to do that means a lot to our new families.

LUNCH DUTY THIS WEEK

To ensure an orderly interaction, all Core/Homeroom teachers (regardless of duty schedule) should accompany students to the cafeteria this week and ensure that everything moves smoothly.

CORE/HOMEROOM TEACHER LETTERS FIRST WEEK OF CLASS

Even though you will welcome the majority of parents in the orientation sessions, it is important to send a more formal welcome letter to all parents, especially for those who missed the sessions.

Sending this by Friday April 28th this week will allow you to include a positive note about the week’s events/activities with students, as well reiterate any important information you shared at the orientation sessions, how to contact you, any anecdotal information, etc.

Always include a picture that sums up or reflects a highlight of your week. Please send it out this week VIA EMAIL (and in the language you are most comfortable/competent with). Please CC Spanish Teacher, Krizia and Cris as well. Thanks.

FIRST DAY FOR ALL STUDENTS..........TEACHERS LET´S CELEBRATE

Thursday April 21st, 15h20

Let´s share a sweat Treat at the cafeteria and “Chill out” with colleagues after the first full day of class!
