Students from the A&M-Kingsville Veterans Association and Javelina Athletics participated in the 22 Push-Up Challenge. The #22PushupsChallenge is an activity done to signify the 22 American Veterans who commit suicide daily.

Meet Forrest Smith, with Texas A&M-Kingsville. His research team has put in “decades of work” in search of the perfect seeds for the different climates and soils we have in Texas.

Travis Jez, Dean Williams and Forrest Smith are three of the people responsible for the yearly display of wildflowers along state roadways. Smith researches the seeds at Texas A&M-Kingsville, Williams harvests them and sells them at Douglas King, and Jez purchases them for TxDOT.
