My Great Italian Dinner at Salvatore Cuomo, Uptown Parade, BGC

The Restaurant

You're seeing the lines and the full bar from outside. You'd think that this Italian casual dining joint might just be another overrated restaurant concept, but somehow, everything works at Salvatore Cuomo.

Salvatore Cuomo currently serve the best Neopolitan pizzas in Manila; brought to you by the Japanese Italian chef himself and Chili's Group Philippines.
The busy restaurant also serves pizza and premium yakitori selections that are worth trying.

Frozen Fruit Cocktails, Martinis, Hard Liquor, Beer, Wines and Sake are available at the bar at Salvatore Cuomo.

The restaurant opens until 3am. It's the perfect pre-game venue before you party at Valkyrie, Palace Pool Club or Revel, if you're a 'Tita of Manila' like me.
enjoy a cocktail or two at the bar

The theater like - kitchen is a sight to behold. You can tell that they aren't hiding anything when it comes to preparing your dishes. This way, you'll know exactly what you are gonna get.

feast your senses at the open kitchen

The Appetizers

I enjoyed some prosciutto, salami and bread for appetizers.
the Caprese con Mozzarella di Bufala is perfect with juicy tomatoes, fresh mozarella and olive oil.
The cheese used in the Caprese con Mozzarella di Bufala is freshly made and is one of the best simple salads that you can get at Salvatore Cuomo.

The Pastas

The Taglionili Gamberi e Spinaci is made with succulent pieces of shrimp, spinach and lemon cream mixed in with taglionili pasta. It's tangy, creamy and uniquely delicious.

My personal favorite though is the Spaghetti alla Spuma di Carbonara - airy carbonara that's made authentic with eggs and italian bacon and sprinkled with Parmigiano Reggiano. So good!

The Pizzas

The margherita is made with the freshest of ingredients. enjoy biting on juicy tomatoes, basil and gooey cheese underneath a flavorful pizza crust.
The special brick oven at Salvatore Cuomo is a goldmine of some of the best pizzas in Manila.
the best quattro formaggi ever is hot out of the oven, drizzled with honey, and eaten using your hands. no utensils needed.

The Steak

tagliata di manzo is beef ribeye steak with basil sauce and parmesan cheese - cooked to medium rare and best eaten with a glass of italian red from montepulciano d'abruzzo borgo sanleo.

you can also try their yakitori made with either chicken or pork.

The Desserts

Chocolate cake and Tiramisu for dessert!
The Orange Beach drink is like a sober Orange Julius who still wants to get one more glass of red wine - for the road.
i had a glass of orange beach - made with fresh oranges, red wine, peach liqueur, orange juice and mandarine syrup. i loved this so much!
I told myself I can't finish the drink, but I did, and it was the best thing I've done all night.

Visit Salvatore Cuomo along Uptown Parade in Bonafacio Global City, Taguig.
