Grade 7 Transition to Central Campus Spring 2019

Hello and a warm welcome to our soon-to-be Grade 8s and parents/guardians.

Hard to believe that Grade 7 is almost over, and that it’s time to think about the next grade and moving to a new school. We are excited to meet you and help you get ready for your move to DCSS Central Campus.

One of our goals is to keep you informed of what’s coming up before July and about 2019-20. Both DCSS and Grade 8 information will be sent home soon.

The transition plan over the next two months involves us coming to your school, then you coming to us to spend time at Central Campus, first with your Gr. 7 peers and second, if possible, with your parents for an open house evening.

Note: Grade 7s will receive their Grade 8 course schedules at the end of June.

Central Campus staff & students’ visit to meet Gr. 7 students

We will share information about our Grade 8 Program and Central Campus. A group of Gr. 8 students will be there with staff. They will definitely make time to answer questions and to have Grade 7’s practice with locks.

An Information package will go home with each student. There will be forms to fill out and please return back to your current school.
