How to Stay Safe If you Ever Climb Mount Everest

To stay safe in ice and snow, you should dress in layers, wear gloves, wear a scarf, wear a hat and wear earmuffs. If you get frostbite then don't rinse your hands in warm water. Also if you get frostbite put the part that that got frostbitten in a warm part of your body. Listen to body signals or if your teeth are chattering and if you are feeling dizzy.

You need the right gear to climb Mount Everest. Hillary and Tenzing had the right gear. They wore gloves, they wore hats, they wore a coat, they were dressed in layers, they had shelter, they had ice axes, they had food and water. They also had oxygen tanks.
