From start to finish this was going to be a fab day. Not only had I shot Samanthas sisters wedding, but I had also shot Barrys brothers wedding so I knew how laid back & welcoming both families were. Add this to an epic engagement shoot down in Curracloe and we could have had the title "if Carlsberg did weddings !!"
I'm well used to the long drive down to Barntown, and I knew there would be a nice & chilled atmosphere waiting, along with an added bonus of working with an old colleague, videographer Martin Healy - things were falling nicely into place.
The stunning Barntown church was just a 5 minute drive away.
This was my first time shooting in Mount Juliet - what a place to shoot !! Absolutely stunning spot, loads of great photo ops in the gardens and various spots - three of my photos from this wedding actually won awards in the IPPA photographer of the year - probably more to do with the location along with the models !!
Time for a few "traditional" shots - but the lads were a bit giddy !
The stunning marquee was set up beautifully for the reception meal.
Even the weather played ball on the day giving the guests plenty of room both inside & outside.
With lovely spaces indoors as well as the bright & airy marquee there were so many spots for photos, plenty to keep me going anyway !
The speeches were bang on point - not too long, but enough for everyone to get their point across, lots of laughs, a few tears, but an overwhelming feeling of warmth & love.
After a surprise appearance from the singing waiters it was outside for a breath of air before the dancing started.
