Dear John Nicholas Sparks

Since John's mother walked out when he was a baby, it was always just he and his father in Wilmington, NC. The only connection they shared was traveling to collect coins.

Once John got into high school, he found his clique, who skipped class and caused trouble wherever they went.

When he graduated high school he continued living with his father. Like all his other friends he was constantly fired from any job opportunity he got. This was, until he had a change of mind and decided to join the army.

After signing with the army, his life began to turn around. From breaking him of his smoking habit, getting him into shape, and meeting Savannah and Tim, John started looking at life differently.

SAVANNAH AND TIM GREW UP as neighbors AND WERE IN NORTH CAROLINA TO HELP REBUILD HOUSES AND HELP PEOPLE IN NEED.

Savannah falls in love with John right before he leaves for Germany. Everything is perfect, until 9/11 happened and he immediately signed for an additional 2 years.

Savannah continues to fall in love, but does she stay with john?

This is not your typical love story and for john to be in the army, it didn't have as much action as you would think. The ending is unimaginable, and it left me speechless.
