GCSE Fine Art Coursework
Year 10 Fine Art students had a learning day outside the classroom. They gathered primary research for The Formal Elements coursework unit.
We began by exploring the delights of Borough Market.
Then admired some street art as we walked along the Thames.
Before we began our visit to the Tate Modern.
The students were challenged by some of the art work.
However, they were able to discuss the formal elements and thought deeply about the context behind the work.
Despite coming across some ''interesting'' artwork, the group remained open minded. The students were engaged, interested and gathered lots of inspiration for their own work.
We ended the day with a trip to the viewing platform where we took in the sights of London.
