1) TAKE A PICTURE -- You can take a selfie, a group shot, a nature pic without humans -- whatever the image, it MUST be yours and it MUST show one of the Cedar River Watershed District's local waterways, such as the Cedar River State Water Trail; Dobbins Creek (Jay C. Hormel Nature Center and East Side Lake); Rose Creek; Wolf Creek (Todd Park); and others. (Note: Turtle Creek has its own watershed district and won't qualify for this contest.)
2) SUBMIT YOUR PIC -- Each person can submit TWO PICTURES PER WEEK for two entries in the weekly contest. Just include your name, date of photo and location. You can share images on CRWD's Facebook page or by tagging Cedar River Watershed District in a Facebook post. You also can email images to CRWD at email@example.com or bring them to the CRWD office at 1408 21st Ave. N.W. in Austin, behind the Runnings store.

3) WEEKLY WINNERS -- Every week (Monday-Sunday) from June 12 to Oct. 1 -- that's 16 weekly winners -- CRWD staff will select the previous week's best image and announce the winner on its Facebook page and website. Weekly prizes will be awarded, typically being $10 in Chamber Bucks, but will include others. Weekly winners will need to pick up prizes at the CRWD office.
