The Summer Wing

The first floor of the "Summer Wing" is an open layout living and entertaining space with access to outdoor decks, a cozy reading nook, and a hidden screened porch. A transom runs the length of the space providing beautiful, indirect light to the area. This space is heated by a woodstove for those cooler summer nights.
From the Summer Wing, one finds the Kitchen, Pantry, and sun-drenched full bath on the way to the Winter Wing.

The Winter Wing

The lower level of the "Winter Wing" is an inviting space for entertaining with access to it's own outdoor decks with southeasterly views of the yard. Custom cabinetry holds ample storage for personal items and provides convenient access to the driveway. This space has central A/C and is heated with propane-heated forced air and woodstove.

A bit more about Hardy's connection to The Berkshires

"Among Hardy’s many projects was the restoration of the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Theater in Great Barrington, Massachusetts for its Centennial Celebration in 2005 – preserving its quintessential early 20th century ambience."
