Taj Mahal built in memory of a Persian princess muntaz mahal wife shah jahan the Mughal emperor and the commissioner. The construction lasted for eleven years, from 1632, till 1643. The cost for this construction was about $827 million dollars. Eiffel Tower is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower Construction start 1887 Finish 1889. Borobudur One of the UNESCO world heritage site Buddhist temple located in java. There is 504 Buddha statues inside built 9 century and abandoned following the 14th century decline of Hindu kingdoms in java and the Javanese conversion to Islam knowledge of its existence was sparked by sir Stamford Raffles. The Pyramid is said to be the Royal Cemetery in the ancient city of Egypt

There are evidence and theories that the building of the pyramid took twenty years and require 20,000 workers. The pyramid is made of stone blocks each weigh at least to tons. One of the best-known Egyptian legacies are the pyramids. The pyramids were believed to have protective and magical powers. They were used to house the tombs of the pharaohs. Building a pyramid was a huge task. It required a strong government, architects, engineers and thousands of workers to organize such a large-scale project.

The tower of Pisa Galileo Galilee survived the world war II till now

The leaning tower of Pisa Galileo Galilee is said to have dropped two cannonballs from the tower to proved a physics theory during the world war II. The enemies used the tower as observation post while an US army sergeant sent soldiers to confirm the presence of German troops but was awed by the monument and refrained from ordering an artillery strike , sparing it from destruction.

The Great Wall of China took almost 20 years to construct

The Great Wall of China was built to protect the Chinese states and empires from the raids and invasions of Eurasian steppe. The Chinese built walls to protect their own states and when King Zhen of Qin conquered the last of his opponents and unified China as the first emperor the Qin Dynasty. He ordered many billions to build the first part of the wall thereafter the emperor's descendants continued on the building the wall.
