Broward COllege Partnership Review

DADE VS BROWARD ALL STAR GAME

On January 13, Miami Dolphins Youth Programs, in partnership with the Greater Miami Athletic Conference (GMAC) and the Broward County Athletic Association (BCAA), continued a six-year tradition in hosting the Dade vs. Broward All-Star Football Game presented by Broward College.

Dade took home the victory in a score of 12-6 over Broward, with Kord Jenkins (RB – Miami Central) named as the Offensive MVP and Daniel Crescitelli (LB – Douglas) named as the Defensive MVP.

On January 14, Miami Dolphins Youth Programs, hosted the Youth All Star Games. the games lasted all day and stretched across six (6) divisions (8U - 14U). Throughout the whole weekend, roughly 4,000 fans viewed the games and Broward College signage around the stadium.

During the Dade Vs Broward College All Star Game, Broward College received Presenting Sponsor recognition at the High School All Star game as well as the Youth All Star Games. Assets included; Social Media Posts, Radio Recognition, Banner Signage, Media Recognition, PA Announcements, and Logo Recognition on promotional collateral.

The Dade Vs Broward College All Star Game Presented by Broward College was heavily promoted across the Miami Dolphins and Youth Programs Social Media accounts. With this strong push leading up to the game, Broward received strong connections with Miami Dolphins fans. DOLPHINS CANCER CHALLENGE

The Ride

On February 11th, the Miami Dolphins hosted the 7th annual Dolphins Cancer Challenge. As an added value to the Broward College/ Miami Dolphins Partnership, Broward College was named the sponsor of the 25 mile Fort Lauderdale Start. As the sponsor of the Fort Lauderdale start, Broward College received additional signage at the start of the race.

Broward College also received PA recognition as riders arrived and began their process of getting ready for the race. The Broward College spot ran approximately every fifteen minutes.

Also at the Fort Lauderdale Start, Don Cook & the Broward College team received complimentary entry into the race to support cancer.

GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL JAMBOREE

Girls Jamboree

The Girls Flag Football Jamboree was a two day event that taught young women the fundamentals of Flag Football. on February 22nd, students from local High Schools arrived at the Miami Dolphins Bubble for a fun afternoon of football drills. Former Miami Dolphins took the young ladies through eight (8) drills that instructed the women on how to block, flag pull, run routes, and catch. Prior getting underway Broward College was allowed the added value opportunity to address the students and speak about Broward College and what the institution offers.

On March 5th, the ladies returned to the Bubble along with twenty other High School teams to put their skills to the test and play a High School game.

At each event, Broward College hosted a table where students and parents alike could gather much need information on pursuing higher education. Broward College also gathered the students information for follow up on this important process.
