I was hired in November of 2016 as independent contractor for the Florence Unified School District to serve as a social media and mobile application marketing strategist. I assist the Director of Public Relations in advertising a new district application through a variety of promotions. For our first promotion, we encouraged students to fill out a google form when they downloaded the FUSD Mobile application to be entered to win two free prom tickets. The promotion ran on January 9th 2017 and these were the results:
The combined total downloads on January 9th was 132 which was a 25% increase in the total number of downloads before that time-the third largest spike since the application was initially released.
