Great Cannabis Debate When will marijuana be legal either medically or RECREATIONALLY in all 50 states?

Marijuana is becoming legal whether its for medical or recreational use. I think it would be a good thing, marijuana doesn't cause no where near as much harm as alcohol or tobacco and The legalization of marijuana could also help in producing more money for the government by them taxing it and creating more jobs for the economy. Marijuana is less harmful than any other drug. Like cigarettes, it messes with your lungs. I mean, marijuana would do a little damage, but not that much. Drinking is bad too. Drinking is worse than anything, but people still drink knowing that it does harm. Marijuana should be legalized. Although there are some negative side effects such as impaired short-term memory and increased risk of lung cancer, it is relatively harmless in comparison to other drugs. The health and good benefits includes, treating Alzheimer’s, Glaucoma, and cancer. It also helps relieve stress, anxiety, depression, and relieves pain.

In all honesty i don't think marijuana will ever be fully legal in all 50 states but if i had to make a guess i would say it would at least take over 50+ years probably more. I expected it to be like a domino effect. Once states that made pot legal other states were just supposed to fall in line being as though how much money the state was making from it. I think it should have never been illegal in the first place like it doesn't cause any real damage to ones life if they smoke the weed and don't let the weed smoke them.

Americans’ views on marijuana have shifted quite a bit since the term 4/20 was coined about four decades ago. In 1969, just 12 percent of Americans thought marijuana should be legalized — by 2013, nearly 60 percent agreed. To the first amendment everyone has the right to the pursuit of happiness. What if someone is only happy if they are using marijuana? If that is the case then the United States govnerment is taking away the pursuit of happiness for Americans which is not what the founding fathers wanted to happen.

Marijuana is the smokable part of the cannabis plant, usually sold in plastic bags on the street. When the drug comes from a medical marijuana facility, it may be packaged in a pill bottle or a vacuum-sealed package. I believe if weed would be sold in stores, valid ID must be given and the user must be at least 21 years of age. After customers start buying from these weed dispensaries, weed dealers would vanish and they would most likely move on to the next drug which are the more hard ones like (Meth,Cocaine,Heroine).

Here is a animated marijuana map that shows where it is medically legal, receational and not legal. http://www.businessinsider.com/animated-map-marijuana-legal-election-votes-2016-11 http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/marijuana-polls_us_5717bd38e4b024dae4f0bc39 http://www.narconon.org/drug-abuse/marijuana/is-weed-bad-for-you.html?gclid=CNWwkor4x9ICFcm1wAodYGgF_Q http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2016/10/12/support-for-marijuana-legalization-continues-to-rise/
