Parent Advisory Council Updates

As noted in the April Notes from the President, the Falcon Family Page has been redesigned to engage our Parent Community. Going forward, you can expect to see postings about meetings/events for Parents, requests for volunteer opportunities, and information from our JPAC Board on initiatives. The JPAC page is for current families, staff, and students only!

Tuesday 4/23- JPAC Meeting 5- 6:30 pm in Rm 165

Current parent/guardians, interested students, and staff are encouraged to come see the swearing in of our new board officers and get to know other community members. Many parents have expressed the desire to get involved! The meeting will be an excellent opportunity to share skills bring to the table or express to the new board ideas, challenges, and strengths of our program.

Tuesday 6/18 - Save the Date! Spring Term Community Forum 6-8 pm at the Jackson District Library Carnegie Branch Auditorium

In an effort to make the Community Forum more accessible to our community, we're bringing this one off campus and to the library. We have also moved this forum to a Tuesday as several community members expressed a desire to participate but having Wednesday evening conflicts. We will be updating Agenda item information as the event grows closer.

Yearbooks for Sale through April 30th

For the past 5 years, our school has produced a yearbook to preserve school memories for students and their families. The yearbook is a strong tradition in our school and we strive to deliver the best possible yearbook for our students every year. This year’s book is available for purchase online through April 30th. The cost is $60, which provides a hardcover 80-page book filled with memories of our student’s experiences and accomplishments. Orders can be placed at https://ybpay.lifetouch.com/Order/SelectJob by using the code 13635419.

To help us provide a high-quality yearbook at a price that all families can afford, please consider contributing to our yearbook donation program. Donations can be made while ordering your own yearbook online. Your generosity allows us to provide yearbooks to students who may not otherwise be able to afford a copy. Thank you for supporting JPEC’s yearbook program!

Don't forget to check out the newest from the Falcon Broadcast Network!

Have a great week!
