When the company became involved with the project, went the complex with 1.200 empty apartments in a period of two years to an 66% full complex, with an investment from $500.000. His father sold the apartment complex, Swifton Village, in 1972 for $6.75 million.

Trump made plans to buy the old Penn Central for $60 million and to develop without losing money. Later Trump changed the bankrupt Commodore Hotel into the Grand Hyatt New York and created The Trump Organization. New York planned to build the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center at the ground, when Trump had an offer to purchase. Donald John Trump and the elections

Trump was a Presidential candidate of the campaign 2015-2016. Trump won the battle from Hillary Clinton. And now Donald John Trump is the new president of the United States.

The opponents of Trump didn’t believe that he would be president of the United States. To make sure that Trump wouldn’t be president the opponents started an online petition. Also an insurgency in the Electoral College should prevent that Trump would win the election. But Monday night the opponents lost all hope that Trump would lose.

A majority of the 539 electors of the Electoral College have voted for Trump. With the election results of the State Texas Trump got 270 votes on Monday night. Only 2 electors of the 38 electors voted different. No insurgency in the Electoral College. On the site of Democrat Hillary Clinton there were even more people who didn’t vote for her. In Washington voted 4 electors of the 12 electors for Clinton.

Inauguration of Donald John Trump

The day started with a letter from Barack Obama to his successor. After that Barack and Michelle Obama drank a cup of tea with the new inhabitants of the White House: Donald and Melania Trump. After the inauguration, Trump balled his fist. This was not the only time today. Donald John Trump after the elections

20 January-Trump is going to be the 45th president of the United States. It won’t be a normal day for us. It will be a day that we remember when we were old.

It’s a miracle that Trump will be the president of America, because before the elections, the majority would vote for Clinton, the opponent of Trump. He spent about 1 billion dollar for the campaign, but Clinton spent a little bit more, namely 1,4 billion dollar, but Trump won. Trump considered the idea of running for president in 1988, 2004 and 2012.

Trump and his speech

Some of Trump’s Plans:

-Trump will build a wall on the border between America and Mexico, so there isn’t illegal immigration between those countries. The Mexican government must pay the whole wall. If Mexico doesn’t pay five to ten billion dollar, he will provide that the immigrants in America can’t send money to their homeland: Mexico.

-The United States is going to do something against terrorism, like IS: the terrorism behind all the attacks in Europe. Trump would increase the budget for army, so he can attack IS in Syria.

-He also want to abolish Obamacare and the law of abortion. First, he was a stickler of the law, but he conceived himself and now he want to abolish it.

-It seems that he is going to abolish a maximum of weapons that you may have in your possession. He thinks:’More weapons, more safety.’ But if it’s going to work? I don’t know.

Trump and the Netherlands

In the TV-programme: Zondag met Lubach (Sunday with Lubach) has showed an video who asked Trump: If America would be first, may the Netherlands than second? It was intended as a funny video, but now people see it as a serious question to Trump. People from the Netherlands said: ’We have asked it neatly, and we are the first who asked.’ Of Trump has watched the video? Nobody know.
