The most significant change in the food industry as a result of climate change would be the prices of goods. This will be because of decreased crop yields, and harder growing conditions. Although there will be improvements, negative impacts will outshine them.

Long droughts have a huge effect on this. When there is insufficient rain, crops die. Not only that, farmers need to change their grow methods.

Extreme droughts also have this same decreasing affect on the crops. Farmers will need to rethink their growing process, making it harder to grow. This increases the prices of the goods as well.
