Cabo Vacation @ Fiesta americana

Becky and I used our Hilton Grand Vacation points this year to visit Cabo, Mexico which is located well away from the drug trade at the bottom of the Baja Peninsula.

Just got back. Wow! We found our "2nd Hawaii" and it is just 2 hours away. We took the "all-inclusive" option and found ourselves drinking frozen margaritas and Bloody "Marias" at 9:30 in the morning by the pools. The resort we stayed at is the Fiesta Americana - right smack on the beach. Loved it so much we are going back next year. Weather was SPECTACULAR - mid 70's/low 80's with low humidity (way better than Cancun). Scroll down to see a number of images from that trip (plus one of Becky on the beach meditating at sunrise).

Stay here next time?
Imagine what the 2014 Cat 4 hurricane did to this place.
Almost there....note sailboat approaching from left.
Perfect timing!

Random Extras

One morning we got up really early (like 0530) and hit the beach below our villa for sunrise. Here are some spectacular views of that event.

These are dark. Duh...sun hasn't come up yet. This is how it actually looked!

Looking back toward the Villas as the sun rises above the horizon.

Taken as we descended toward the beach.

Awesome start to another great day in Cabo!

So not to bore you, I'll finish up with some other random shots from this slice of paradise.

Yes....this is what the water looked like.

December 2017....we'll be back!
